About

Project "Do Something" is a grass-roots initiative to help homeless people in Boston with basic survival needs and emotional support.  Started by Boston area citizens tired of seeing suffering homeless persons, Project "Do Something" aids the most vulnerable residents in the community.

As many as 20,000 Boston residents have been or are currently living on the street or in emergency shelter.  While long-term solutions are being implemented, homeless persons need immediate aid.  Project "Do Something" steps in providing basic survival items such as food and clothing.

Beyond handing out items, the people of Project "Do Something" talk to these often overlooked souls, asking them their story.  They encourage solutions to getting off the street and into a better situation.   By walking the streets of Boston, They let these poor souls know they are not forgotten.

Project "Do Something" is not affiliated with any organization, but is researching partnerships with other like minded organizations.
